Q’ESWACHAKA THE LAST INKA BRIDGE (LIVE CULTURE)
CUSCO – COMBAPATA – YANAOCA – QUEHUE – Q’ESWACHAKA
The trip starts from the city of Cusco with the pick up from your hotel at 6:00 a.m. South-West direction. After almost two hours of travel we will visit the four lagoons: Pomacanchi Lagoon, Acopia, Asnaqocha and Pampamarca or Tungasuca. After enjoying a quiet moment near the lagoons, the next place we will visit will be the small Pabellones volcano, continuing with the tour we will have a rest near the town of Yanaoca for breakfast. Around 11 a.m. we will arrive at the impressive Inca bridge of Q’eswachaka, where we will have the opportunity to cross the Inca bridge, you will feel a great emotion when crossing this grass-made bridge of the highest areas of the Andes called “ICHU” and we will also participate in the special ceremony making an offering to Mamacha Tierra (Pachamama), performed by an Andean priest. At the end of the ceremony we will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Qeswachaka bridge, continuing with the tour On the way back to Cusco we will make a final visit to the colonial Inca bridge of CHECACUPE where you can see the differences between the two bridges. This interesting trip ends in the city of Cusco at approximately 5 pm.
