    Sacred Valley Archaeological Center of Chinchero you can see the agricultural construction lands. It was the house of Tupac inka Yupanqui. Today you can see the church dedicated to the Virgin of Monserat. We have some traditional festivals with other nearby communities.
    Chinchero is located 3700 mstm, it is one of the Quechua-speaking communities that is identified by its beautiful colors of its traditional clothing where red and black stand out more. in this market you can still observe some customs and traditions such as barter or exchange. This allows for a product exchange where everyone leaves happy for the exchange. they produce it themselves until today.

    Itinerary

    Day 1 : Special Sacred Valley Tour Full Day

    Our tour starts from the city of Cusco, between 6:30 am and 7:00 am. We will go to your hostel to pick you up and then start the tour, making the first stop in CHINCHERO to visit the archaeological site with the same name. Then we will continue with the trip to the archaeological site of MORAY, which in the Inca era was a laboratory and agricultural research center for the layout of its circular Inca terraces where we will have a visit guided 45 minutes approximately. The other point to visit are the SALT MINES. This place is known as the salt mines, constituting of about 400 small salt wells built on the mountain of Kachi Qata, from where salt water comes out. This place was very important since the Inca times because the Incas gave a very valuable use for food. After the guided tour we will go to Urubamba. Here we will have a 1 hour stop to enjoy our lunch at a tourist restaurant; lunch can be paid directly at the same place. Then we will continue our tour until we reach the town of OLLANTAYTAMBO – the famous Inca Living Village, where we will have a guided tour of the archaeological complex, from where we will also see the impressive face that is distinguished in the hill, the famous god Tunupa.

     

    After the visit to this archaeological center, we will head to the archaeological site of PISAQ, where we will find buildings and Inca terraces of great importance as these served as an area of adaptation for some products of the Inca region, as well as serving as a place of surveillance for the entrance to the Sacred Valley. Here we will have a guided tour for about 1 hour where our bilingual guide will give us in-depth information about the most important sectors of this archaeological zone. We will visit the religious sector formed by temples, the urban sector, the cemetery Inca and finally the agricultural terraces. Finally, we will be back in Cusco at approximately 7:30 pm.
